Although the price of residential real estate has
dropped in the past year, housing opportunities that
much of our workforce can afford have
not significantly increased. The perfect storm –
workers leaving the region in search of more
moderately priced housing and a record number of
foreclosures brought about by the subprime crisis –
rages throughout South Florida. For the past year,
the Urban Land Institute’s Terwilliger Center for
Workforce Housing has been seeking solutions aimed
at creating more workforce housing and preserving
existing units. This conference presents the
Center’s Southeast Florida Steering Committee
preliminary findings and brings perspectives from
other national speakers.
Don’t miss this chance to learn how you can be part
of the solution!
Registration is limited – affordable conference
registration has been arranged to insure maximum
participation. Register today! |
