Sustainable
development is the new buzz word. What does it
really mean and why is it important? Ed McMahon, ULI’s Senior Resident Fellow for Sustainable
Development and Environmental Policy, discusses how
sustainability makes good business sense in the
context of climate change, high energy costs, and
unsustainable land use practices. He looks forward
to your questions following his presentation.
Each attendee will also receive a copy of Ten
Principles of Coastal Development, a new ULI
publication addressing the issues of sustainability,
enhancing value through conservation, public access
vs. private property and other timely topics for our
region. |
